I have always had a love of performing & joined my local choir the moment I was able. This lead to dance classes, amateur dramatics, singing lessons &, subsequently, auditions for music college. I studied vocal performance at graduate & postgraduate level at Trinity College of Music, London but left knowing I had yet to find ‘my voice’ & unsure of the road ahead. After a break from performing, I auditioned for the Morley Opera School and was subsequently booked by a small opera company based in Leicestershire, Opera Minima. I performed with them extensively and developed a programme of school & community workshops and also began to direct some of their productions.
