This is "Revelations - Trailer" by Muziektheater Transparant on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Revelations was a music theatre production of Wouter Van Looy in 2017. This season we bring its music back in concert.

For Revelations, composer Wim Henderickx wrote a wordless new work piece structurally inspired by a classical Latin mass, in which inspiration from medieval and Renaissance music resounds. His score is performed by soprano Lore Binon, Flemish Radio Choir and musicians from the HERMESensemble and provided with an electronic layer by Jorrit Tamminga.

Revelations was een muziektheater productie van Wouter Van Looy in 2017.  Dit seizoen brengen we de muziek in concertvorm.

Componist Wim Henderickx schreef voor Revelations een woordeloos nieuw werk structureel geënt op een klassieke Latijnse mis, waarin inspiratie van middeleeuwse en renaissancemuziek doorklinkt. Zijn partituur wordt verklankt door sopraan Lore Binon, Vlaams Radiokoor en muzikanten van het Hermesensemble en van een elektronische grondlaag voorzien door Jorrit Tamminga.
