Réminiscences de l'époque soviétique par l’Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg, sous la direction de son directeur musical et artistique Aziz Shokhakimov, avec Nemanja Radulović en soliste.

Nemanja Radulović empoigne le spectaculaire Concerto de Khatchatourian, écrit pour David Oïstrakh en 1940. Exigeant du soliste un haut degré de technicité, cette œuvre attachante se conclut par un finale endiablé convoquant rythmes et couleurs propres à la musique populaire arménienne. Shokhakimov dirige également la Cinquième Symphonie de Prokofiev. Se souvenant de la création de l’œuvre en janvier 1945, Sviatoslav Richter racontait : « Alors que Prokofiev s’apprête à donner le départ pour le premier mouvement, l’organisateur du concert entre sur scène pour tenir le public au courant de la progression de l’Armée rouge vers Berlin. […] Il y avait là quelque chose de très significatif, comme un symbole. »
