Fortryllende familieforestilling med musik og sang i børnevenligt format.

Ingen anden opera har tryllebundet generationer af børn og voksne som Mozarts udødelige Tryllefløjten. Den Jyske Opera præsenterer den berømte opera med symfoniorkester og sangere i en familievenlig, forkortet version. Børnene kan opleve alle Mozarts berømte melodier, og de kan følge med, når orkester­ musikerne skaber musikken, for orkestret er bragt op i øjenhøjde, så alle i salen kan se dem.

Tryllefløjten tager børnene med ind i operaens magiske verden af prinser, prinsesser, mystiske troldmænd og en ond dronning. Operaen handler om det gode mod det onde, og om lysets kamp mod mørket.

Prins Tamino forelsker sig i Pamina, som er blevet bortført af troldmanden Sarastro. Paminas mor, Nattens Dronning, er ulykkelig over at have mistet sin datter, så da Tamino lover hende at redde Pamina, giver dronningen ham en magisk fløjte. Hun giver ham også en følgesvend, Papageno, der med sit magiske klokkespil kan hjælpe Tamino på hans færd. Sammen drager de ud for at redde Pamina og finde kærligheden, og de må igennem farefulde prøvelser, inden eventyret kan ende lykkeligt.

Enchanting family performance with music and song in a child-friendly format.

No other opera has enchanted generations of children and adults like Mozart's immortal The Magic Flute . The Jyske Opera presents the famous opera with symphony orchestra and singers in a family-friendly, shortened version. The children can experience all of Mozart's famous melodies, and they can follow along when the orchestra musicians create the music, because the orchestra is brought up to eye level so that everyone in the hall can see them.

The Magic Flute takes the children into the magical world of the opera of princes, princesses, mysterious wizards and an evil queen. The opera is about good against evil, and about the struggle of light against darkness.

Prince Tamino falls in love with Pamina, who has been abducted by the sorcerer Sarastro. Pamina's mother, the Queen of the Night, is unhappy to have lost her daughter, so when Tamino promises her to save Pamina, the queen gives him a magic flute. She also gives him a companion, Papageno, who can help Tamino on his journey with his magical chimes. Together they set out to rescue Pamina and find love, and they must go through dangerous trials before the adventure can end happily.
