Who is crazy here? Two almost newly married people dance unabashedly through the ball at the Savoy, settle old debts, look for other experiences of all kinds, for distraction or exposure - lured by the charm and seduced by the longing for adventure. So far, so operetta. But appearances are deceptive, because the glittering world of ballrooms has long been history, the internationalized world is just a heap of rubble, society is a shadow of what might have been its former glory. And this is where the crazy win. With a glorious ignorance of reality and an actionism approaching madness, the multicultural mélange of the Savoy followers scurries, entangles and stabs from a ludicrous situation to an even crazier one. And of course you fall in love finds each other and strives for a gaudy and fiery end - within the scope of the possibilities. It is questionable whether the crazy people in this dystopian fun are really the ignorant, losers or outsiders, or whether it is precisely these slightly insane people who appear independent who unconsciously redefine the boundaries of a crazy world and thus their free, non-existent or sometimes difficult ones raise rules to be fixed to the unspoken status quo.
