Der Fernsehmoderator Ralph Caspers, bekannt aus der ›Sendung mit der Maus‹, kommt nach Wuppertal und erzählt das musikalische Märchen ›Peter und der Wolf‹. In der klassischen Musik gibt es wohl kaum einen Vogel, der tollkühner, virtuoser und fröhlicher zwitschert als Peters bester Freund – bei Sergej Prokofjew gespielt von der Querflöte. Samtiger als eine Klarinette kann kein anderes Instrument des Orchesters eine Katze durch das Gras schleichen lassen und gleichzeitig Jagd auf einen Vogel machen. Und das Gequake der dicken Ente wird unnachahmlich von der Oboe gespielt. Diese und alle anderen Instrumente werden den Kindern von Ralph Caspers und den Mitgliedern des Sinfonieorchesters vorgestellt.

Television presenter Ralph Caspers, known from the German children’s show “Die Sendung mit der Maus”, is coming to Wuppertal to tell the musical fairy tale of “Peter and the Wolf”.
There cannot be a more daredevil, virtuoso or happily chirping bird than Peter’s best friend – played by the flute in Sergei Prokofiev’s story. There is no other instrument that can make a cat slink through the grass and, at the same time, prey on birds in a more velvety fashion than a clarinet. And the oboe is unrivalled in reproducing the quacking of the fat duck. Ralph Caspers and the members of the symphony orchestra will introduce them and all the other instruments to the children.
