View cast and crewPittsburgh native Benjamin Werley—praised as having a “gleaming, fliexible tenor” (Opera News)—has performed at many of the country’s leading opera companies. Recent appearances include performances for Anchorage Opera (Don José, Carmen), St. Petersburg Opera (Cavaradossi, Tosca), Central City Opera (Red Whiskers, Billy Budd), Dayton Opera (Nemorino, L’elisir d’amore), The Southern Illinois Music Festival (Ruggero, La Rondine), and The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (Tenor soloist, Beethoven 9). Coming this season, he returns to Salt Marsh Opera (Fenton, Falstaff) and St. Petersburg Opera (Edgardo, Lucia di Lammermoor) and makes his debut with Opera Ithaca (The Prince, Rusalka).
