Our State Opera Choir will be around 200 years old. This anniversary needs to be celebrated - and so the more than 80 choir members sing well-known pieces from opera classics of the 19th century together with the Staatskapelle under the direction of choir director Martin Wright. This is accompanied by Schumann's 2nd Symphony, conducted by Daniel Barenboim, which uses suggestions from Bach and Beethoven and yet has that romantic tone that is characteristic of the composer Schumann.

Unser Staatsopernchor wird runde 200 Jahre alt. Dieses Jubiläum gilt es zu feiern – und so singen die mehr als 80 Chormitglieder gemeinsam mit der Staatskapelle unter Leitung von Chordirektor Martin Wright bekannte Stücke aus Opernklassikern des 19. Jahrhunderts. Dazu erklingt, dirigiert von Daniel Barenboim, Schumanns 2. Sinfonie, die Anregungen von Bach und Beethoven verarbeitet und dabei doch jenen romantischen Ton besitzt, der für den Komponisten Schumann charakteristisch ist.
