The wonderful music of the overture to the fairytale opera Hansel and Gretel silences the excited whispering of the children and adults in the auditorium and all eyes are on the stage full of expectation. This is how the performances have started for 28 years now. Of course, the overture also opens our opera lesson , with which we want to give primary school children a look behind the scenes of an opera performance. The development of a production is shown, beginning with the work on the text and score, a musical rehearsal on the piano, the first scenic rehearsals in sparse stage equipment, the transformation of the singers through costumes and make-up. e.g. B. the witch ... Up to changes in the stage through conversion and lighting moods.

Die herrliche Musik der Ouvertüre zur Märchenoper Hänsel und Gretel lässt das aufgeregte Geflüster der Kinder und Erwachsenen im Zuschauerraum verstummen und erwartungsfroh sind alle Blicke auf die Bühne gerichtet. So beginnen die Vorstellungen seit nunmehr 28 Jahren. Die Ouvertüre eröffnet natürlich auch unsere Opernstunde, mit der wir Grundschulkindern einen Blick hinter die Kulissen einer Opernaufführung ermöglichen wollen. Die Entstehung einer Inszenierung wird gezeigt, beginnend mit der Arbeit an Text und Partitur, einer musikalischen Probe am Klavier, ersten szenischen Proben in sparsamer Bühnenausstattung, der Verwandlung der Sänger durch Kostüm und Maske. z. B. der Hexe ... Bis hin zu Veränderungen der Bühne durch Umbau und Lichtstimmungen.
