Van Italië naar Engeland en weer terug: in een van zijn persoonlijkste concertprogramma’s ooit gaat Marco Beasley op zoek naar zijn eigen muzikale wortels. Metgezel in dit avontuur is snarentovenaar Stefano Rocco, met wie Beasley al tijdens zijn studententijd in Bologna musiceerde. De muzikale tocht strekt van Pierre Guédron tot Nick Drake, met tussenstops bij componisten als Claudio Monteverdi en Henry Purcell.

From Italy to England and back again: in one of his most personal concert programs ever, Marco  Beasley goes  in search of his own musical roots. Companion in this adventure is string magician Stefano Rocco, with whom  Beasley already  played music during his student days in Bologna. The musical journey stretches from Pierre  Guédron to Nick Drake, with stops in between with composers such as Claudio  Monteverdi  and Henry  Purcell .
