After 35 years since its last overseas tour, when one of the shows was attended by President Jimmy Carter, the Madrigal Choir will meet the American public, but also the Romanian people in the United States from both coasts of America, with a wide repertoire of Renaissance music, Romanian and international carols, as well as universal choral compositions.

"The Madrigal Choir is one of the best cultural projects that Romania can present to the world, an important vector of our public diplomacy, a first-class emblem that puts our country on the cultural map of the world. The Madrigal Choir tour is also an excellent opportunity to celebrate Romanian talent, this being the motto under which our embassy organized the public diplomacy events this year", said the Romanian ambassador to Washington, Andrei Muraru.
