The young musicians recently formed the Lantana Camara ensemble, but regularly play together in renowned baroque orchestras such as Concerto Köln, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Ensemble 1700, the Hofkapelle Stuttgart and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. They have also scored points as soloists in recent years with their debut CDs “Pure” (Jonas Zschenderlein), “Prussian Blue” (Sophia Aretz), “Soliloqvies” (Amarilis Dueñas) and “Beat Bach” (Alexander von Heißen).

At Dornach Castle, the Lantana Camara Quartet focuses on composers from France, Italy and Germany from the Baroque and 20th century: People and other animals in the eyes of Georg Philipp Telemann, François Couperin, Jean-Baptiste Lully, Arcangelo Corelli, Georg Friedrich Handel, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Patrick Pföß come to life musically.

Die jungen Musiker:innen haben sich jüngst zum Ensemble Lantana Camara formiert, spielen jedoch regelmäßig in renommierten Barockorchestern wie Concerto Köln, dem Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Ensemble 1700, der Hofkapelle Stuttgart oder der Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin zusammen. Ebenso konnten sie mit ihren Debüt-CDs „Pure“ (Jonas Zschenderlein), „Prussian Blue“ (Sophia Aretz), „Soliloqvies“ (Amarilis Dueñas) und „Beat Bach“ (Alexander von Heißen) in den letzten Jahren solistisch punkten.

Im Schloss Dornach nimmt das Quartett Lantana Camara Komponisten aus Frankreich, Italien und Deutschland aus dem Barock und dem 20. Jahrhundert in den Fokus: Menschen und andere Tiere im Blick von Georg Philipp Telemann, François Couperin, Jean-Baptiste Lully, Arcangelo Corelli, Georg Friedrich Händel, Karlheinz Stockhausen und Patrick Pföß werden dabei musikalisch lebendig.
