Mit 130 Konzerten in 92 Spielstätten an 73 Orten werden die Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern vom 14. Juni bis zum 15. September 2024 das gesamte Bundesland in einen Klangraum verwandeln, der zum Entdecken und Verweilen im Zeichen der Musik einlädt. Am 7. August ist das Festival mit einem Konzert in der Rostocker Halle 207 zu Gast.

So traditionsreich wie das viertägige Treffen von Traditionsseglern, das 2024 zum 33. Mal im Rostocker Stadthafen stattfindet, ist auch dessen musikalischer Auftakt mit der jungen norddeutschen philharmonie und einem Mitglied der Preistragenden der Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. 2024 zeigt WEMAG-Solistenpreisträgerin Joséphine Olech, welch leidenschaftliche Kraft in der Flöte steckt und wie ein unbändiger, in Iberts Flötenkonzert wirkender Freigeist mit dem jungen Orchester harmoniert.

With 130 concerts in 92 venues in 73 locations, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival will transform the entire state into a sound space from June 14 to September 15, 2024, inviting people to discover and linger in the spirit of music. On August 7, the festival will be hosting a concert in Rostock's Hall 207. The

musical opening with the young North German Philharmonic and a member of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival award winners is as rich in tradition as the four-day meeting of traditional sailors, which will take place for the 33rd time in 2024 in Rostock's city harbor. In 2024, WEMAG soloist award winner Joséphine Olech will show what passionate power lies in the flute and how an irrepressible free spirit, who appears in Ibert's flute concerto, harmonizes with the young orchestra.
