Conductor Soo-Yeoul CHOI, who is active as the artistic director of the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra and the chief conductor of the Korean Chamber Orchestra, will take up the baton. His chosen work is the Strauss- An Alpine Symphony. The Alpine Symphony is based on Strauss' childhood experience of living in the Alps Garmisch, and captures 22 landscapes of the Alps from dawn to dusk.
Various types of special instruments are also mobilized to vividly reproduce the sounds of nature, such as 20 horns, six trumpets, six trombones, glockenspiel, celesta, organ, etc. 100 performers on stage in a large-scale composition, including a wind apparatus that creates the sound of wind, a thunder sheet that mimics the sound of thunder, and a cowbell. 

The first song, Ligeti's 'Atmosphères', is also worth paying attention to. Akin to the meaning of the word ‘atmosphere’, ‘Atmosphères’, evokes a sensation as if a group of countless stars are floating in outer space. It is characterized by densely overlapping individual melodies to form a huge sound layer, a single sound mass.
In addition, pianist Minsoo Sohn, the teacher of Yunchan Lim, the youngest-ever winner of the 16th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022 , will perform Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini together. Rachmaninov's new arrangement of the theme from Paganini's last piece, Capriccio, is more colorful, demonic, and witty than any of his other musical compositions. It is a song loved for its complex technique and rich orchestral color, but is notorious for being difficult to perform by musicians.

There are high expectations on what kind of stage performance Minsoo Sohn will perform, ‘a pianist who presents strength and elegance at the same time’.
