Hong Kong International Operatic Singing Competition

About this Competition

Hong Kong International Operatic Singing Competition aims to recognise and help develop young singers from all around the world ageing from 18 to 33 years old. Application to the HKIOSC 2021 will reopen on 01 September 2020.

A panel of International Jury will review all applications and select 24 Semi-finalists. 8 Finalists will compete for 4 prizes, totalling beyond USD25,000. The competition will also be recorded and broadcasted on radio and online, maximising competitors’ exposure in the media.

During the competition period, competitors will be provided with accommodation at a 4-star hotel.

Applications for The Hong Kong International Operatic Singing Competition 2020 will reopen on 1 September 2020.

Applicants must be between 18-33 years old (born within the period of 29 June 1987 to 24 June 2003, both dates inclusive).
